Video: Harlem's Dame Dash, Camron and Jim Jones Working Together
The Harlem's World own Dame Dash, Camron and Jim Jones are back in the studio together again. Dame Dash's career went downhill after signing his Harlem mates to his joint label "Roc-a-Fella," which was also owned by Jay-Z. Jay-Z didn't like that Dame signed the deal when he was overseas performing, so he broke the union up. Jay-Z excelled, but Dame Dash not so much. Camron (who was a protege of MASE, also from Harlem) and Jim Jones who had both belonged to the group "Dipset" has also fallen out some time after the split. Now they are back together and they are working! Good Look for the Harlem trio.

R.I.P. Sherman Hemsley (George Jefferson) "The Jefferson's"
Today Actor Sherman Hensley, best known for his work as George Jefferson on the television show "The Jefferson's," passed away. he was 74 years old. Sherman started out on "All in the Family." He was rewarded his own spin off show "The Jefferson's" after 2 seasons. The Jeffersons's went on an 11 season run before ending. He later played on the television show "Amen."
Hemsley was hilarious at his best. I remember watching "The Jefferson's" as a little girl. George Jefferson was the first Black, successful, rich, businessman on TV and he was married to a Black woman. That's the DREAM right there. After watching the Sanford and Sons and the James Evans on "Good Times," it was good to see a Black family that finally got a piece of the pie. The show's theme song "Moving on Up" says it all.
Hemsley has indeed moved on up to that deluxe apartment in the sky! Check out some of his work below:
