Meek Mill Battles Pastor Jomo K. Johnson about His Song "Amen"

I saw Meek Mill going crazy on Instagram about the news paper reporting on him instead of the murders that are occurring in the city.  With all the murders taking place in Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Daily News front page is a post about Meek Mill's new song "Amen." Apparently Pastor Jomo K. Johnson didn't like the song. He contacted the newspaper and of course Meek being the hottest Philly Rapper in the spotlight, the paper puts him on the front page. Meek Mill while working in Miami, called up to the radio station in Philly. The Pastor was there. Listen to the two debate. Meek pleads his case. He loudly says, "He doesn't even believe in GOD." Meek Mill says, that the Pastor could have contacted him and he would have gave him so money for his church. He pleads his case by saying he took 10 drug dealers out of the hood. He says he gives back to the community all the time. The Pastor says that Meek Mill promotes murder, rape and drug dealing in his music. He also says that no mater how much money he makes, if he doesn't accept CHRIST, he's still going to hell. 

Meek should have had a PR rep speak for him...... He went HAMMMMM. While I do like Meek Mills music. I'm baffled about his comment, "I don't even believe in GOD." When he clearly raps on Dream Chasers one that "GOD told him not to look back and he never known him to lie." ........hummmmm

Target Won't Sell Frank Ocean's Album "Channel Orange"

The retail store Target released a statement regarding Frank Ocean's new album "Channel Orange."

Target released a statement to Fuse earlier today explaining why it would not carry the album. “At Target, we focus on offering our guests a wide assortment of physical CDs, so our selection of new releases is dedicated to physical CDs rather than titles that are realized digitally in advance of the street date,” said a Target spokesperson. “Our assortment decisions are based on a number of factors, including guest demand. Target has a longstanding tradition of supporting music and artistry that reflects the diverse landscape of American culture.”

Video: Rick Ross Shoots "Hold Me Back" Video in the HOODS of New Orleans

Rick Ross says he felt New Orleans as he listened to his song "Hold Me Back." So he took a trip down South to New Orleans and shot the video for the song in the different hoods of out city. He visited the Calliope Projects, the Melph Projects, the 17th ward area and other places. Swiss Beatz, Wale, as well as New Orleans own Mia-X and Currensy were both on set for the shoot. Ross and Swiss Beatz gave out their new Reebok tennis shoes to kids in the area.Check out the footage below. I can hear a New Orleans girl on the phone with one of her friends saying in our accent "Get around here, it's REAL, lawwwieeed." LOL! Hats off to Rick Ross for his willingness to show the world the strength of New Orleanians. THESE PEOPLE WON'T HOLD US BACK!!!!!!!

Last Night as I worked on the blog, I saw my timeline jumping from retweets from New Orleans Rapper Na'tee. The buzz was about her on this new Jim Jones remix for his single "60 Racks." The single features Lil Wayne and Camron as well. I have to be honest. The first time I listened, I fast forwarded to her verse. LOL! Geaux Na'tee! Hold New Orleans down.

Dwayne Wade Shows off his Nail Polish....

The other night as I played around on Twitter, I saw a retweet of a picture that Basketball player (Miami Heat) Dwayne Wade posted. It was a picture of some feet with the caption "Black matte finish toe nails ..Rockstar ish." Upon first glance I thought that it was a picture of Gabrielle Union's foot. Well apparently, it wasn't. Dwayne Wade actually wears nail polish and he isn't the first athlete to wear it. Dennis Rodman as well as Chad Ochocinco both have shown off their fabulous nails. LOL!

I just can't get with this NEW ish....LOL!

Less than a week after his open letter to his fans, Frank Ocean releases his first album "Channel Orange." Last night he played the Jimmy Fallon with The Roots. Her performed his song 'Bad Religion.' Twitter went crazy last night as the album was available for download just before midnight. Everyone was jamming to the music....gay and straight alike. #tuhh (The MUSIC always drowns everything else out.)

That's why he didn't fight back. I didn't hear any of the things Glocc says happened going on in this video. This is real silly of Game though.

Usher's Stepson Declared Brain Dead

Usher's stepson with Tameka Foster Kyle was involved in a horrible jet ski accident over the weekend. As he sat in an inter-tube, a jet ski collided with the tube injuring him and a 15 year old girl. The girl suffered serious injuries. Usher's step son was declared brain dead. Pray for their family in this horrible time.
