Rico Love Steals New Orleans Bounce Sound for T.I. Record (Lil Wayne to Feature)

So New Orleans Bounce is about to get recognized on a bigger scale again by NON New Orleans artists. T.I. along with Rico Love has come up with a song called "Ball." Lil Wayne will be featured on the song.  I'm a little upset about this. We don't appreciate our own music enough to push it to where it needs to go. These people come from other places and STEAL our bounce sound.. :(

Memphitz Fires Back at K. Michelle

On the first episode of "Love and Hip Hop ATL," Singer K. Michelle told her story of being signed to JIVE Records. She was discovered by a friend in her home town who looked nice and they started dating. She explained how he was a JIVE ANR and he got her the 2 million dollar deal, but squandered the money and left her with no album and broke. She also talked about how he had beaten her. She turned to the label for help and they told her to, "Shut up and sing." Although K. Michelle didn't mention names, most people knew that the JIVE ANR who she once dated is Memphitz, husband of (Reality TV star and baby mama of Lil Wayne), TOYA. Upset about the accusations, Memphitz took to Instagram to defend himself and to diss K. Michelle. Peep the picture below:

Out of respect for Toya, K. Michelle kept quiet about who she was referring to. If I was her, I would have said his name. Memphitz's come back was tasteless, girly and petty. If I were K. Michelle, I'd not only thank him, but I'd ask him to make another ME. He hasn't had an artist since and he's currently out of a job at JIVE. I sure hope he isn't leeching off of  Toya. He certainly seems like the type.

Review: Love and Hip Hop ATL

So last night as I ate my red beans and rice. (It was Monday in New Orleans. LOL) I could not believe my eyes as I watched what was happening on "Love and Hip Hop ATL." A very poorly scripted and acted show, "Love and Hip Hop ATL" is simply horrible. Mimi, the baby mama of Stevie J (Eve's Ex), starts off by telling her story of being with a guy who is never home, because he's always in the studio. Stevie J who flaunts around town with his artist (Tranny) Joseline Hernandez is THE WORST. The story unfolds at a night club where the 3 are involved in a lovers quarrel. The way Stevie J disrespects Mimi upset me to my stomach, but not more than the fact that he's cheating with another MAN. *gags at the thought* Mimi has to be the DUMBEST woman on the planet to even have signed on to this show. She can get the spoils from Stevie J (He copped her a house) without the embarrassment. K. Michelle,  a very talented, yet struggling Singer tells her story of being bamboozled out of her 2 million dollar recording budget by her then boyfriend Memphitz Former ANR for Jive Records. She tells a story of how Memphitz beat her. He's moved on now and married Toya of the "Tiny and Toya" show. So K. Michlle is working on making heart break love songs about him. Joseline a struggling artist/jump off (allegedly) is a post surgery transsexual. And I would not be surprised if it came out to be true. She/he really looks like it. Rapper Lil Scrappy and his baby mama are back together after Rapper Diamond cheated on him with Soulja Boy. The Baby Mama is skeptical, because she feels he would not have come back to her had Diamond been faithful. Lil Scrappy's Mother, Mama DEE is another ball of confusion. She steps in as a  mediator between the two, attempting to tell the girl how to love her son. Being a former drug dealer and a pimp, her advice is left on deaf ears. Rapper Rasheeda didn't domuch in the first episode and Kevin Lyles son's girlfriend...(I forgot her name already) is a wanna be Foxy Brown/mess maker. Mona Scott Young (The show's Producer) knew the drama would be OVER THE TOP in ATL. She made a good MONEY MOVE with this one.

New Video: Codac Feat. G.M.A. "I'm ILL"

Codac has been on his grind. After his "Codac Moment" event at Therapy Lounge, he comes back with G.M.A. over the "I'm Ill" track. G.M.A. is laced with some hot spitters. Ceddy B from the Deselonde Boyz, Gee Miller, Tre and 4 Kus, an exceptional Westbank Battle Rapper who reminds me of Mystikal in his prime. Check it out:
