While Nicki Minaj is the only female hip hop artist to have steam right now and record labels are doing the best they can to try to make another her (Azealia Banks, Iggy Azelea), there are 3 Female Hip Hop artists that refuse to stop spitting that raw and uncut. New Orleans own Na'tee, Brooklyn Babs and Ebony Eyez are on the grind to the come up. In this "Last of the Best" video the ladies' hunger exudes. Each of them go hard in their very own way, killing the track. (Which is an understatement) These ladies totally annihilate each of their verses. This should open the eyes not only of listeners, but of label execs as well. Check it out:

Hot 97's Program Director Speaks On Nicki's No Show
Hot 97's Program Director says Nicki Minaj was NOT the headliner of the show. He also says that Radio Show Host Peter Rosenberg will not lose his job for the comments that were made about Nicki Minaj during Summer Jam. he also says that Lil Wayne and Hot 97 have been having issues for some time now and that it was bigger than the comments made by Rosenberg.

Not only did Codac have a dope documentary playing beforehand, he also gave an awesome show. The performance was very well thought out and put together. With thought provoking songs as well as club bangers, Codac kept the crowd at attention. Rocafella Records Co-Founder Kareem "Biggs" Burke was arrested last year in a big marijuana sting in New York along with several other men. The bust carried a minimum 5 - 40 years in prison. Biggs whose 600,000 dollar home and 15,000 cash was seized by the Feds, was given 5 years in prison by a judge on yesterday. The "weed" sting was said to have been distributed in Florida, California and New York. #Crazy

Nicki Minaj Speaks to Power 105 About Summer Jam
Nicki Minaj called into the opposing radio station in New York Power 105 this morning. She took a slick shot at Lil Kim. "I don't ever want to do anything to make anyone think they are more relevant than they really are." Charlamagne the God, who constantly goes back and forth with Funk Flex of Hot 97 also put his 2 cents in about Flex.

After Peter Rosenberg a radio host for Hot 97 in New York dissed Nicki Minaj, who was one of the headlining performers for the festival, Lil Wayne put his foot down and decided to not let YMCMB perform. This caused Nicki Minaj to turn her back on fans and the festival all together, by not showing up. Funkmaster Flex, who was upset about the no show spoke on it via one of his sets at Summer Jam.

This caused Twitter to erupt and Nicki's Fans as well as Flex followers to go hard on each other. Nicki and Flex, being friends, decided to have a phone call to make peace and see where everyone went wrong. Some apologies were made, but to me it wasn't completely solved. Nicki did agree that she sided with Wayne's decision, although, it took her forever to admit it. Flex apologized to her for his comments that he made out of anger. But Lil Wayne nor Peter Rosenberg (who started the whole disrespect thing) were on the call.

Nicki Minaj Pulls Out of Summer Jam
So yesterday was the infamous Hot 97 Summer Jam. Sumemr Jam is a huge concert that happens every year in New York, well for the past few years New Jersey at the New Meadowlands Stadium (Giants Stadium.) Huge acts have appeared on the Summer Jam stage, from Diddy to Jay-Z to Michael Jackson. I was privileged to got a few times and lived it every time I went. Well yesterday Nicki Minaj was scheduled to perform a set after having missed out the year before to do the MTV Awards. Apparently, one of Hot 97's DJ's dissed her during the show and it got back to Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne sent out a tweet

Immediately After that Nicki Minaj tweeted that Wayne had spoken and she wasn't doing the show. Funk FLex also took time out to diss the artist. Mind you, Tiger and Busta Rhymes both YMCMB artists still performed at Summer Jam yesterday.
