New Music: Mary J.Blige Feat Drake "Mr. Wrong"

Although I like Mary J. Blige's new joint featuring Drake, I don't like the message it is sending. Her opening line on the song is "Bad boys are no good/Good boys are no fun." While this may be true in most cases, I've learned over time that the good boys are ultimately the ones we should choose. This song encourages the alternative though. She sings about her relationship with a bad boy, "Mr. Wrong." While being with Mr. Wrong may feel so right, in most cases it isn't the right thing to do. I encourage every young lady out there to make wise decisions when dating men. :-)

New Mixtape: Rafe Da Trackaholic "Impatiently Waiting"

Often times if I'm handed a c.d. I never get around to listening to it. I usually misplace it or something. Rafe Da Trackaholic handed me his c.d. a few weeks ago and I never got around to it. He then hit me up to follow up on if I had listened. Being a girl that cannot tell a lie, I admitted that I had misplaced the c.d. and asked him to email it to me. He sent me the online link and I immediately clicked on to listen. From the 1st track "Back At It" my head was bobbing. I proceeded to listen on and I got extra hype off "Stunt Ball." Tracks like "Depend on Me" show the softer more emotional side of Rafe. With lines like, "To my dog Burger who lost both his legs, you can have mine to run any race." #RealNiccaShit I was feeling that. The next few tracks keep you into the mixtape. "Cant Hear "Em," Handle My Bizness," and "Stupid Clean" all go hard. Nothing is more funny than "I'm Smashing." Over all this is one of the hottest mixtapes out since Dee-1's "I Hope They Hear Me" and Da-UBoys "Da Shut Down". SEE For yourself..

Beyonce 4 Album didn't do as well as she expected and she has been dropping video after video to keep the album HOT. Her "Party" video includes cameos from her sister Solange, her friend Kelly Rowland and Sunglass designers Coco and Breezy. Rapper J. Cole joins her for the remix and Kanye West who is featured on the song also, is not present. A Kanye cameo would have been nice tho.........

If you are not on that "Cole World" C.D., you're slipping. Dude really has some jams and at the same time, some reall nicca shit. The latest video from J.Cole "Lost Ones" is very touching. In the song he raps about a young couple having a baby before marriage and the gy wanting the girl to get an abortion, but the girl refuses. This happens alot in today's society and this video is very relevant. Every young person should take heed to the message in this song.

New Video: Codac "Pose"

On Tuesday Night, I had the opportunity to see this artist perform live before the premier of his video. He did a good job and the reaction from the audience after viewing th video let me know that the video for "Pose" is very entertaining. After listening to this joint, you just have to get your whip game and kick game up....LOL...at least it made me want to! Go Codac!

New Video: Lil Dee "Heart Listens"

After being arressted and damn near gunned down by Jefferson Parish Officials in a bazaar ordeal while shooting the video fro "Heart Listens," Lil Dee God's Gift finally got to finish his video. "Heart Listens" intent was to bring forth a positive message to the youth in New Orleans and around the world. Although it took alot to finally finish the video, here it is. Good Job Lil Dee!!!!
