New Book: T.I. "Power and Beauty"

Rapper T.I. has been making moves since his release from Federal custody. He paid a visit to "The View" show to promote his New Book "Power and Beauty." The book is about a brother and sister who wee raised in the rough streets of Atlanta. After losing their mother, they depend on each other to survive. They experience various conflicts in their lives, including dealing with incest. The two of them sleep together. I heard it's a really good book. T.I. did quite a bit of writing while locked up. Expect more to come from him!

New Music: Bridget Kelly "Every Girl"

Roc Nation's new female artist Bridget Kelly hasa new single out. It's called "Every Girl." Sounds like they are marketing her as a pop artist. If you are not familiar with her, she's the girl that sang on stage with Jay-Z for the Blueprint 3 Tour. She covered Alicia Keys part on "Empire State of Mind." Check it out....

New Remix: Chris Brown "Ni**as in Paris"

The boy Chris Brown is a fool for this one!! lol....If you didn't know, when Chris Breezy first got on, he was initially trying to sign as a Rapper. His people adviced him to go the song route for much greater success. Now that he has the success, he still lets other rappers know that he has skills. On the Jay-Z and Kanye "Ni**as in Paris" remix though, Chris directly takes a shot at Jay-Z and he even spews that he's not trying to send any subliminals. He also adds that he's done apologizing for what he did to Rihanna.

After the VMA's Jay-Z's twitter page randomly tweeted, "Chris brown." Everyone wondered why would he tweet that. According to Chris in this remix...the ni**a Jay-Z is proud of him..LOL..I'm weakkkk!!! And T-Pain is being sooo MESSY! "Go head and bring your Crown over, ass kisser, brown noser." - Chris Brown WOW!!! *still laughing* Check CHRIS OUT!!!

Inspiration: Dr.Suess "Oh the Places You'll Go"

It's Wednesay and I know how that mid-week slump comes upon us. Sometimes we need a little inpiration to get us going. Today I'm going with a book my sister was given as a gift when she graduated college. It's Dr. Suess' "Oh the Places You'll Go." When I first read this book, I was about 23 I believe and I literally began crying while reading it. It's so relavent still today. I hope this gives someone a push this week! :)

Nicki Minaj the Female Weezy??

Birdman has a new video coming out called, "Y You Mad." The video features Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj taking on the role of the "female" Weezy. I've heard several times that Nicki Minaj was copying Lil Wayne's style, but REALLY...do ya'll think she is the female version of Weezy? Nicki dresses the part with long drealocks in her hair, a wife beater and Lil Wayne's signature camo shorts. Check her out in this video playing Weezy.

Beyonce Exposed: A Thievin Heaux! LOL

I absolutely loved "Love on Top" when I first heard the song, but when I saw the video, I immediately got upset. I'm an 80's baby and a MUSIC fanatic. So if something is compied or if a line is repeated, 9 times out of 10, I know who originally did it. Beyonce has become so UNoriginal that it's a shame. "Love on Top" is a complete rip off of 80's Popstars New Edition's "If It Isn't Love" video. This isn't the first time she's done this though. Her "Single Ladies" joint was a complete copy of Bob Fosse "Walk It Out" Dance.
If you are from New Orleans, you KNOW she got the idea for "Get Me Bodied" right from Jubilee with the call out dances routine. What is crazy though is, she gets away with it. If anybody else did this, it would be a big deal, but since it's BEYONCE, it's like no one cares... I am frankly getting tired of it. She's quick to say she was INSPIRED by something. What she really be saying is, SHE STOLE IT! As Sandra Rose says, she is quickly becoming BeYAWNce..... Check out some of her thievery!!
