In Memory of Hurricane Katrina

6 years ago today, Hurricane Katrina ripped through the city of New Orleans taking lives, ruining homes and separating families. The Annual Katrina march is today and starts in the Lower Ninth Ward where the levees were breeched. In remembrance of everyone we lost and those who desired to come back to New Orleans but never got a chance to, I post this video below. The poet in the video is of Chris Newton a guy I met a year or so after the storm. This video was so real to me at the time. Everything he spoke on in the poem was really happening in New Orleans and with F.E.M.A. Check it out...........
