Lil Wayne Responds to Jay-Z

The Carter IV album has leaked and already has almost 2 millions downloads....WTF??? How did that happen? But anyway...on one of the songs on the album which features Jadakiss and Drake, Lil Wayne felt the need to address the "money" issue that Jay-Z spoke on on "H.A.M." on the "Watch the throne" album. Jay-Z was obviusly responding to a video that Cash Money C.E.O. Brian "Baby" Williams posted on World Star HipHop claiming that Lil Wayne had more money than Jay-Z. (who btw NEVER is on a Forbes tops list)

Baby below saying Lil Wayne has more money

Jay-Z spewed: "You got baby money. Keep it real with niccas, Niccas ain't got my lady money."

Lil Wayne's Response: "Talking bout baby money/i got your baby money/kidnap you rbitch, get thathow much you love your lady money/I know you fake nicca/press ya breaks nicca/I'll take you out, that's a date nicca"

Here's the song with the shot back at Jay-Z

R.I.P. Aaliyah

Today is the Anniversary of Singer Aaliyah's death. Aaliyah was a beautiful singer and actress who first arrived on the scene as a young girl. She had run ins with Singer R.Kelly and later moved on to another label and achieved major success. She dated former Roc-a-Fella C.E.O. Dame Dash at the time of her death. Aaliyah was truly a gem and her music lives on with us.

New Video: Lil Wayne "How to Love"

Lil Wayne undeniably has talent. In his latest video for his single "How to Love," he gets very creative in telling a story of a young girl who came up with a troubled past, was raped by a family member, turned to stripping and eventually caught H.I.V. This is happening EVERYDAY somewhere across America and the message in this video is very deep! I loved the song initially, because I honestly understood it and I see so many girls like this all the time. This video is one of the reasons Lil Wayne is in my FAV list! Peep it...........

New Book: Prodigy "My Infamous Life"

Rapper Prodigy of the hip hop duo Mobb Deep has a new book out. It's an autobiography about HIS life growing up in Queens and being in the music industry. The book is entitled "My Infamous Life," and it takes you into the deep dark stories of Prodigy's life, suffering with sickle cell and what he experienced being in the music industry working with some of hip hop's greats. Prodigy gives us insight on stories we may or may not have already heard of like the East Coast-West Coast Beef, The Murder Inc vs 50 cent Beef, Nas vs Mobb Deep and he even calls Capone of the rap group Capone and Noreaga a "Snitch." If you are a fan of hip hop, this book is a MUST READ!

The book as been causing quite a bit of contraversy amongst some of the New York rappers mentioned in the book. Capone took to Youtube.com to blast Prodigy on calling him a "snitch" in the book. Noreaga had a problem with some things exposed in the book. There has also been some talks of death treats against the aged rapper. Others mentioned in the book are Puff Daddy, Jay-Z, Lyor Cohen, Ja Rule, Snoop Dog, Irv Gotti and Russell Simmons. If you are a fan of 90's hip hop.....GO COP! You can purchase the book on amazon.com or visit
