Dopeness: NA'TEE "Switch"

Every chick in New Orleans should be standing behind this B.M.B. (Business Minded..we'll say BOSS) for the sake of the youth....LOL It's evident that she's a brick house, but bedsides the looks Na'tee is the hottest, most consistent, female M.C. with the best flow I've seen in a long time. When I met her in 2007, I knew she was going far. The 20 something young Femcee not only is in control of her rap career, but she produces and edits her own videos. I remember she told me that a while back and I was like, "Woah, really?" A writer, rapper, producer, editer....Ultimate Hustler...Nat'ee has got to get ON!!!! "Single Ladies"

I must be honest, I have not been keeping up with all of the "Single Ladies" episodes. But I must say after watching the last one, I think I really like this show. Lisa Raye and Stacey Dash are no Halle Berry but I think the parts suit the two ladies well. This is a show I myself can really relate to as well. If you missed it, check it out.....

R.I.P. Tim Smooth

Back in April there was a benefit to raise money to help Old School New Orleans Rapper Tim Smooth pay for his medical expenses. The rapper was battling with mouth cancer which eventually spread to his lungs. Apparently Tim has lost his battle with cancer. Around 1:30 am tweets began popping up on my timeline saying #RIPTimSmooth.

Tim Smooth was a phenonminal rapper. Growing up with 3 older brothers, I remember listening to his tapes as a little girl. "I Gotsta Have It," was one of his most famous singles. Tim was spitting on another level for New Orleans rap way back then. He is gone, but definately won't be forgotten. His wity metaphors and ill song titles make him one of New Orleans Greats. New Orleans has lost one of its gems.
